- "Are you afraid to state why you're supporting McCain?" I love the question. Frequently I give up when someone doesn't want to be on camera, but that's a good way to get them to speak. Makes them look like the (posted to Why Do You Support Your Candidate?)
- I hate to say it but I think Teddy Roosevelt beat the Ron Paul supporters pretty bad. (posted to RNC08: Theodore Roosevelt VS. Ron Paul Supporters)

- Great video and juxtaposition. You can see the eagerness for change in the Ron Paul supporters and the honesty in the Obama supporter who has also had enough of the craziness we've experienced the last eight years. The McCain supporters (posted to Why Do You Support Your Candidate?)
- Isn't it strange that republicans have to compare their VP candidate to the democrats Presidential candidate? Democrats, between sniggers of derision and snorts of disgust, contend that Sarah Palin, John McCain's vice-presidential pick is ridiculously unqualified to be president. It's (posted to Why Do You Support Your Candidate?)
- cp, yes the eagerness of the Ron Paul supporters is palpable. And they weren't the only ones. I met other Ron Paul supporters (watch for a new vid later today, Thurs) who were also young and articulate and engaged. -- (posted to Why Do You Support Your Candidate?)
- that teddy can hold his own! i feel like if the ron paul supporters would have let one person go head to head, they could have nailed him. there were weak spots in his argument for sure. but he got (posted to RNC08: Theodore Roosevelt VS. Ron Paul Supporters)
- That was quite entertaining. It inspired me to look up Teddy Roosevelt and it turns out he was quite on the left and alienated many of his fellow republicans with his progressive stances. The trouble with the Ron Paul guys (posted to RNC08: Theodore Roosevelt VS. Ron Paul Supporters)

The AWEARNESS Blog provides daily updates under four socially-aware pillars of discussion: Social Rights, Well-Being, Political Landscape and Hard Times. This blog hopes to raise awareness around the issues that fall under these four areas in a dynamic and engaging format. In addition to regularly updated news and commentary under these topics, the blog also includes Q&As, original content from Kenneth Cole himself and contributions from staff members of Kenneth Cole Productions. There's a lot to delve into so we suggest you stop reading this boring intro stuff and get involved.
Hard Times
Poverty. Unemployment. Homelessness. Social insecurity. For issues like these we really need to spare some change. Give us your two cents to help put a hot meal of content on this table for others to consume, and give those less fortunate than ourselves some credit.Political Landscape
This terrain can be highly treacherous. Watch your step as you navigate the sifting sands of political agendas and government policies. Hopefully we can wipe away the slinging mud and scroll around for the truth that rarely dares to surface.Social Rights
Equality. Remember that? It's a mythical utopia most of us are still searching for. Let's stand up for the minorities and the moral injustices that many have to face every day. Let's discriminate against discrimination. Does that sound fair to you?Well-Being
Without our health, we have nothing. There are many things out there trying to harm us: AIDS; Pollution; Global Warming; Bird Flu; Medical bills. Some are natural, some are man-made, and unfortunately for us the list is endless. More posts here might be just the medicine we need.
It's good to feel needed.
