Jennifer Stone
- Biography: Jennifer Stone lives and works in Los Angeles, where she is fortunate enough to be able to tend a backyard organic garden/urban wildlife habitat. With the belief that environmental justice profoundly affects social justice, some of the issues she follows closely include deforestation, ocean acidification (another effect of excess carbon dioxide production), wild and domestic animal rights, desertification, water rights and the loss of genetic diversity in food crops worldwide. She also avidly loves fashion and is encouraged to see that many apparel producers are adopting more sustainable practices. She is taking steps to reduce her own carbon footprint as much as she can, including recycling, composting, conserving water, drying laundry on a clothesline, switching to all CFLs in her home, and driving as infrequently as possible. None of these efforts has impaired a healthy sense of humor.
