These are great links. Thanks. Memes are like candy: They're enticing and go down easy, but they also pose a real threat. The thing that worries me about memes is that they've largely taken the place of real knowledge and (posted to Will Memes Determine Our President?)
ignorance is bliss for me. If I knew what i was going to die from, I'd be spending all my time trying to prevent it and probably die from something else. I wouldn't be enjoying what life i had left. (posted to Watch Those Eyelashes)
If I knew I was in danger of a heart attack, I'd get to a doctor, nutritionist and gym right away. I wouldn't rush to spend the $2500, but I wouldn't fear knowing either. Biology isn't always destiny. (posted to Watch Those Eyelashes)

Hard Times

This terrain can be highly treacherous. Watch your step as you navigate the sifting sands of political agendas and government policies. Hopefully we can wipe away the slinging mud and scroll around for the truth that rarely dares to surface.

Social Rights

Equality. Remember that? It's a mythical utopia most of us are still searching for. Let's stand up for the minorities and the moral injustices that many have to face every day. Let's discriminate against discrimination. Does that sound fair to you?

Well-Being

Without our health, we have nothing. There are many things out there trying to harm us: AIDS; Pollution; Global Warming; Bird Flu; Medical bills. Some are natural, some are man-made, and unfortunately for us the list is endless. More posts here might be just the medicine we need.
