I must say that the nearly complete lack of comments on this blog makes me question the value of corporate blogs. I think the community feeling that users might be after is not perceived to be there when it's linked to a company. (What real link to social awareness issues does a fashion company have?)

Paul - You bring up a good point, and one that we talk about a lot here. For me, I think what it says is that communities are not commodities. They don't "happen" overnight. The best communities are ones that develop slowly over time. Certainly we'd love to see more comments and discussion on the Awearness site, but at the same time, reading the emails we receive, we know that the blog is developing a loyal following and a stable of daily readers. Why people don't comment more is hard to say. Our hope is that as more and more people get comfortable with the content on the blog, they will comment more and join in on the discussion. Our goal is that as more people read the blog, the "corporate blog" feeling will start to disappear.

ive been reading this blog since inception and continue to come back because of its scope and the insight offered by some terrific writers. kenneth putting out a 'corporate' blog? dont make me laugh. that dude has been anti-establishment since the 80s. hey kenneth, i applaud you for always keeping it real! keep up the great work and liza - you rock!
